Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At La Patola, customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We strive to ensure that every product delivered meets our quality standards and customer expectations. All our products are handcrafted, and minor variations or weaving irregularities are a natural characteristic of handloom textiles, contributing to the uniqueness of each piece.

However, in the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective product, we are happy to assist you in accordance with the policy outlined below.

Return Eligibility

  • Return or exchange requests must be raised within 2 days of receiving the product.

  • Returns are accepted only if the product is damaged or defective at the time of delivery.

  • Requests raised after the stipulated period will not be accepted.

Return Condition

  • The product must be returned in its original, unused, and saleable condition.

  • All original tags, packaging, folds, and invoice must be intact.

  • Products that show signs of use, alteration, washing, stains, or damage caused after delivery will not be accepted.

Return Window

  • Approved products must be returned within 7 working days from the date of receipt.

International Returns

  • For international orders, customers are requested not to ship the product back directly.

  • Our support team will guide you through the return process to avoid customs duties or clearance issues.

Initiating a Return Request

To initiate a return request for products purchased from La Patola, please follow the steps below:

Please share clear images or videos of the damaged or defective product for verification.

Step 2: Return the Product

  • Only after your return request is approved, ship the product to the return address provided by our support team.

  • Do not ship the product without prior approval.

Information to Include with the Return

  • Customer name

  • Order number

  • Registered mobile number

  • Original invoice or receipt

Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized or made-to-order products

  • Products for which tailoring or alteration services have been availed

  • Items damaged due to improper care, misuse, or negligence

  • Products returned without original tags or invoice

Inspection & Quality Check

Once the returned product is received, it will undergo a thorough quality inspection by our team.

Based on the inspection, La Patola reserves the right to:

  • Approve or reject the return request

  • Offer one of the following upon approval:

    • Exchange with another product of equal or lesser value

    • Credit note or voucher redeemable on a future purchase

All decisions regarding returns are at the sole discretion of La Patola.

Return Shipping Charges

  • Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer.

  • If the return is due to an error on our part, shipping charges will be refunded in the form of a credit note or voucher.

Defective or Tampered Package

If the package appears damaged, tampered with, or unsealed at the time of delivery, customers are advised not to accept the shipment and immediately contact us.

Upon verification, if the damage is confirmed to be not caused by the customer, La Patola will offer an exchange or credit note as deemed appropriate.

Product Variations & Descriptions

  • Product specifications such as colour, weight, handwork, and size are approximate.

  • Minor colour variations may occur due to screen resolution, lighting conditions, or photography.

  • A shade variation of up to 10% is considered normal and will not qualify for return or exchange.

  • Handwork embellishments such as beads, zari, or sequins may experience natural wear over time and are not considered defects.

Order Cancellation

  • Order cancellation requests must be emailed to contact@lapatola.com with the subject line “CANCEL – Order Number”.

  • A 3% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Cancellation requests will not be accepted once the order has been processed or dispatched.

Refund Procedure

  • Refunds, where applicable, will be issued as a credit note or exchange, at the sole discretion of La Patola.

  • Processing time is up to 7 working days from the receipt and inspection of the returned product.

Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

  • Any disputes related to returns, exchanges, or cancellations shall be addressed via email at contact@lapatola.com.

  • La Patola’s decision shall be final and binding.

  • This policy is governed by the laws of India, and all disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Gujarat, India.

  • La Patola’s liability shall be limited to the value of the product purchased.
